My Name is Dave Hughes and I’m just in my 40’s
Prior to becoming a personal trainer I worked for Britvic soft drinks, this is where I met my business partner and best friend Simon Mcneilly. There I held many responsible positions from new business development executive, to a regional account manger. I was top in my team of 20 sales executives/account managers.
But it wasn’t my passion! Fitness was and always has been.
I come from a sporting background with extensive martial arts, kick boxing and boxing, but there have been times like many of us where I have struggled to control my weight and lost my self confidence and motivation and at one stage I bloomed up to 16.5 stone. I suffered with low esteem, bad back and unable to fit im my clothes.
So finally I made a life changing decision and took matters into my own hands and decided to get back to peak fitness and qualify as a personal trainer, I went to Australia and studied a diploma in personal training and exercise science. I achieved advanced level 3 instructor and now i am on my level 4. I have invested time and money on fitness education to learn the latest science and cutting edge information; I’ve travelled across the globe to LA, Australia and New Zealand to learn from the best fitness and weight loss coaches there are. This is something I could have only dreamed of doing. But I want to use the benefits of my life experience as a mature trainer to help others achieve their weight loss, health and fitness goals.
I now have over 24 years of experience in the health and fitness industry working as a Personal trainer and Fit Camp Sergeant. My aim is to help you make a positive and permanent lifestyle change, in a fun and social environment, encouraging fitness and health to become part of your way of life.
